Choose your bottles carefully

As a mom of 3 I'm constantly making sure I'm making the healthiest decisions for my children, we live in a world full of toxins and unfortunately many of the producers and manufacturers of products and food (not all but many), do not have our best interests at heart, which is our health. It has all really become about profits and unfortunately we need to do more research now days to keep our families healthy.   One of my concerns is the bottles our children are drinking from, most children and adults are drinking from plastic bottles on a daily basis, everyone has heard about the negatives of BPA which is the compound used to make plastics hard and most plastic bottles nowadays come with a label saying BPA free.... But now researchers are saying that the BPA-free products we are buying to escape these outcomes may not be so safe after all. That’s because manufacturers simply replaced the BPA in their plastic ware with other bisphenols—F and S, specifically—that act in much the same way as the dreaded BPA.  Side effects of these compounds that are in all our plastic bottles are Endorcrine disruptions, which can lead to cancers, birth defects, immune system suppression and developmental problems in children.  Not to mention the pollution that plastic creates!

Through my research I have come to the conclusion that the safest solution for now is to avoid plastic ware altogether, regardless of whether its labeled BPA-free or not. Look for water bottles and food containers made from unlined food-grade stainless steel, bamboo, or glass.

Stainless steel has become my go to bottle of choice, it has lots of benefits, the bottles are very durable and difficult to break, they are fairly light weight, Stainless steel will not rust, liquids will stay cooler for longer.  They are environmentally friendly and can be recycled as it is made with natural elements.  Stainless steel is 100% eco-friendly, some say that water tastes better coming from a stainless steel bottle rather than plastic, I must say I do agree!

Most importantly No risk of ingesting potentially harmful chemicals which may leech from the walls of some plastic bottles over time.

My theory is why take the risk when there is a safe option.
